Day 11 and I was a bit trepidatious this morning after I had lost all ability to draw yesterday! I ended up not really liking yesterday's illustration as a result (I don't think other people liked it too much either, only two people entered the competition) so I began work this morning with a little dread. Luckily kangaroos have lovely faces and this kangaroo let me draw her without too much trouble. I think the added bonus of a little joey helped. This whole art malarkey is a moody business.

How to win

ree

If you'd like to win this pretty kangaroo and her curious joey just go to the comment section below and...

  • give them names

  • give the pic a caption (the funnier the better)

Get your entries in by midnight tonight (13/04/2018) and come back here tomorrow to see if you've won.

Good luck!

...and the winner is Louise!

Technically you didn't give the kangaroo a name but I'll take Mum instead because the caption suits the pic so well.

Well done!

Kerrie the kangaroo was at her wits end playing the tedious game of peek-a-boo with Joey the Joey. Just one of the cons of being a marsupial..

Mildred was surprised when a joey popped it's head out from under her kimono. As far as she knew, she had no children.
