So anyway, I started work on this illustration this morning intending to give it a vintage feel, like an old photograph...but it started getting a bit creepy, then a little creepier so I just went with it (I blame it on his antlers). It has a kind of Dorian Grey/demon/devilish feel to it now I think. Or maybe I've just watched too many horror films. Just to be on the safe side, if you feel the hairs rising on the back of your neck, don't look behind you...
